Diala forces ready to receive security dossier after U.S. withdrawal, its Council says

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Northeast Iraq ’s Diala’s security forces are prepared to receive the security dossier after the withdrawal of the American forces, though the areas-in-conflict need special forces to manage their security, Diala Council’s Chairman said on Wednesday.   “The experience of the past few years have proved the readiness of the Iraqi forces in Diala to receive the security dossier, after the complete withdrawal of the American forces from the Province,” Taleb Mohammed said.   Taleb said that “the police and Army forces have managed to impose their authority on all Diala areas,” calling on the government to “invite the Kurdish Peshmerga forces to join the Iraqi forces, in protecting security inside the areas-in-conflict, comprising the Province’s townships of Jalawla, Saadiya, Qara-Teppa and Khanaquin, pending the settlement of their merger to different provinces, according to the Iraqi constitution.”   Baaquba, the center of Diala Province , is 57 km to the northeast of ghdad .   SKH (IT)
