22 killed, 60 injured, in Kirkuk Thursday explosions

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: At least 22 persons have been killed and 60 others were injured in three explosions that ripped through north Iraq ’s oil-rich city of Kirkuk on Thursday, a Kirkuk police source said.   “We can’t consider the said result as final, because a large number of people have been seriously injured in the explosions,” the police source said.   He said that “there was a large number of unknown victims, whose bodies were charcoaled in the explosions and investigations were taking place to uncover their identities.”   At least three consecutive explosions took place in Kirkuk early in the day, killing and wounding dozens of people.   SKH (ST)   659
