Police officer’s legs amputated in blast

SALAH AL-DIN / IraqiNews.com: The director of Police Department of Alam District in Tikrit and his driver were injured due to a sticky bomb in their car, police sources in Salah al-Din province said today.   Two other persons were also injured due to an explosion in local market mid of Tikrit city.   The source informed IraqiNews.com that the police director had his legs amputated due to the explosion.   Tikrit, the center of Salah al-Din province, lies 175 km north of Baghdad.
