Iranian proposal for agricultural investment in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: An Iranian delegation expressed desire to invest in the agricultural sector, the media spokesman for Karbala‘s Agricultural Department said today.  Bahir Ghali added that the department has about 250,000 donums ready for investment according to the agricultural map of the province.  “The Iranian delegation proposed building modern villages in the province, in addition to green houses and training cadres on modern agriculture,” he added.  Karbala city, the center of the province, lies 108 km south of the capital, Baghdad.  RM (TS)/SR 462
