Three sportsmen arrested east of Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi Army force has detained three sportsmen from their homes in northern Iraq ’s city of Mosul early on Tuesday, the Chairman of al-Mustaqbal al-Mushriq Sports Club in the city said.   “An Iraqi Army force has detained three outstanding sportsmen in Ninewa Province from their homes in east Mosul on Tuesday morning,” Sharqi Mohammed told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said the detained sportsmen were “the National Player, Shamal Mohammed Saleh, Member of our Club, Aziz Ni’ama and the official in charge of the Popular Teams in our Club, Fa’iz Aziz.”   Mosul , the center of Ninewa Province , is 405 km to the north of Baghdad .   SKH (ST)   841
