“Government sent bad messages to people” – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Member of National Alliance Judge Wa’el Abdul Lateef said today that “the government sent bad messages to the Iraqi people by appointing 3 vice-presidents, despite public calls to minimize the cabinet, at a time that there was an agreement among the political blocs that one vice-president should be chosen.   He added that “the appointment of the three vice-presidents means non-respect of the Iraqi public will and the religious authority that called for minimizing the cabinet.   “This is a dangerous indication in the light of public protests demanding reforms, eradication of corruption and unemployment, as well as not to waste the public funds”, he concluded.   RM (TP)/SR 616
