Iraqi Yezidi farmer kidnapped in northern Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A farmer, belonging    to   Iraq ’s     Yezidi sect, has been abducted by armed men, while working in his farm west of Mosul , the center of northern Iraq ’s Ninewa Province , a Ninewa security source said on Wednesday.   “A group of unknown armed men have abducted late Tuesday night a Yezidi citizen in Sinony compound of Sinjar township, northwest of Mosul ,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said that the abducted man was a farmer, who was abducted from his farm, whilst the police had been searching for him since his abduction late Tuesday night.   Mosul , the center of Ninewa Province , is 405 km to north of Baghdad .   SKH (ST)     796
