Traffic accident kills 13 persons in Diwaniya, southwest Iraq

DIWANIYA / IraqiNews.com: A traffic accident has killed 13 persons, including women and children, in southwestern Iraq ’s Diwaniya Province early on Saturday, according to its Traffic Police Director.   “A passenger bus had run through an agriculture combine in Ifag area, 30 km to the south of Diwaniya city, instantly killing 13 persons, among them women and children,” Lt. Brigadier, Abdul-Amir al-Rikaby told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said that all the victims had been citizens of southern Iraq ’s Dhi-Qar Province , on their way to Najaf.   Diwaniya, the center of the province carrying the same name, is 180 km to the south of Baghdad .   SKH (PT)   890
