Seven persons, among them 4 officers, killed, 17 others injured in Tikrit blasts

SALAHAL-DIN: At least 7 persons, among them 4 Iraqi Army officers, have been killed and 17 others injured in a booby-trapped car blast against the Presidential Palaces compound in central Tikrit on Monday, an Iraqi Army source said.   “The semi-final result of the booby-trapped car blast at the entrance of the Presidential Palaces compound in Central Tikrit on Monday, has reached 7 persons killed, among them 4 officers, whilst 17 others were injured,” he added.   Tikrit, the center of Salahal-Din Province , is 175 km to the north of Baghdad .   SKH (PT)   856
