Situation needs balance – power partnership – Nujaifi

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Parliament Speaker Usama Nujaifi said today that “the unstable conditions in Iraq needs balance and partnership in power, calling to abide by Arbil initiative,” a statement from his office. The statement, as received by IraqiNews.com, said that Nujaifi, while receiving British ambassador Michael Aaron , stressed the importance of nominating security posts and forming the Strategic Policies Council. It added that both sides agreed on the view points discussed in the meeting. For the last four months, there are differences on the nomination of security and military ministerial posts, because each party of the main two blocs rejects the others nominee. Some parts of Iraq witnessed an avowed security deterioration and increase in assassination attempts with silencers against senior security and military officers and governmental officials as well, despite heavy patrolling and checking points, at a time US forces withdrawal time is nearing by.
