Solving problems with one basket deal – MP

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: National Alliance MP said today that the differences remain among political entities on the National Council for Strategic Policies and the security ministries, expecting that the deal shall come in one basket.   MP Ali Kurdi pointed out to IraqiNews.com that this matter could be achieved after one month as dialogue is not yet complete.   “The differences are still prevailing which led to a state of tension and shed its shadows on the security situation,” he added.   “The Arbil agreement consisted of establishing the Strategic Policies Council. It has been developed to vote on in the Parliament,” Kurdi said.   He expected that “these matter could be solved within one month’s time if dialogue continues, with the one-basket solution as the only vent.”   Iraq has been witnessing political crises since  March 2010 election, due to the mistrust among the political entities, particularly the two main ones, Iraqiyah and State of Law, where the first demand the quick implementation of Arbil agreement that led the way to forming the Iraqi government on 21 December, 2010, including the distribution of the ministerial posts.   Differences are centered between al-Iraqiya and State of Law blocs on certain articles in the Arbil agreement.
