Five policemen killed in an armed attack in Ramadi

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Five Iraqi policemen have been killed in an armed attack by unknown gunmen west of Ramadi city, the center of west Iraq ’s Anbar Province on Sunday, an Anbar security source reported.   “A group of unknown armed men opened fire from a fast car on a police checkpoint in Rutba township, 280 km to the west of Ramadi, killing 5 policemen,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   The security source gave no further details, but said the armed men had escaped for an unknown destination.   Ramadi, the center of Anbar Province , is 110 km to the west of Baghdad .   SKH (PT) 692
