Popular Movement denies their activists’ fled

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com:  The Popular Movement denied today the reports that some of its activists fled Iraq following threats for participating in Tahrir Square demonstrations in the center of Baghdad.  A member of the Movement, Journalist Laith Mohammed Redha, told IraqiNews.com that “all of the Movement’s board will remain in Iraq, continue their demonstrations to eradicate corruption and unemployment, as well as protest for better services and reforms.”   Redha added that these reports are “anti-Movement propaganda following our ability to press for the release of four of our Movement’s members, who had been detained last Friday.” RM (TP)/SR    412
