Bomb hits US convoy in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A bomb exploded against a U.S. convoy in the north of Basra, police sources said here today.  No casualties were reported.  On the other hand, police forces made several raids in different parts of the province that resulted in the arrest of 10 people wanted for various crimes, in addition to seizing vehicles without authentic papers.  Basra lies 590 km south of the capital, Baghdad.
