Iraq’s al-Ahrar (Liberals) MP charges Maliki’s government with failure to face U.S. violations

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A Legislature of Iraq’s al-Ahrar (Liberals) Bloc has charged the government of Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, with “failure to face violations by the U.S. forces in southern Iraq ’s Missan Province .”   Legislature Amir al-Kinany was quoted to have told al-Hayat newspaper on Wednesday that “Maliki’s government was implementing hostile operations against the Shiite Sadrist Trend,” charging the government “with being disable to stop the violations by the occupation forces in Missan Province .”   “The Iraqi government is committing hostile operations against the Sadrist Trend, through carrying out a series of detentions, not only in Missan, but other Provinces as well,” Kinany said.   Kinany, meanwhile, has pointed out that his Bloc “has denied reports that it had taken a decision to cancel its alliance with the State of Law Coalition , led by Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki.”   The city of Amara , the center of Missan Province , 390 km to the south of Baghdad , had witnessed U.S. air raids, using live ammunition, against al-Ufiya and Abu-Rummana areas in central Amara, where the American troops suspect as being used by armed groups to launch rockets on Buteira Military Airport , 5 km to the north of Amara.   SKH (IT)   854
