Clashes inside Hilla prison between prisoners – guards

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Clashes broke out inside the Grand Hilla Prison in western Iraq ’s Babel Province on Friday, forcing the security forces to impose a curfew on Hilla city, a Babel police source reported.   “Clashes broke out between prisoners and prison guards inside the Grand Hilla Prison in Hilla city, where fire broke out inside the prison and the so-called ‘Scorpion Force’ intervened, imposing a cordon around the prison, amid strong fire sounds,” the police source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   “The prisoners have been using arms in their fight against the prison guards and police, source of which was not known,” the police source said, giving no further details.   Hilla, the center of Babel Province , is 100 km to the south of Baghdad .   SKH (ST) 512
