Car stealing gang captured in Wasit

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Wassit police arrested today a specialized gang in stealing cars during a security operation conducted south of Kut, according to police commander.  General Hussein Abdul Hadi told IraqiNews.com that the police raided Hay Qadha, 40 km south of Kut, and arrested three persons specialized in stealing cars.  “The raid was carried out based on intelligence information”, he added.  A BMW car was found with them, which was handed over to its owner accordingly.  Kut, the center of Wassit province, lies 180 south of the capital, Baghdad.
