Expertise, not sectarianism is the base in institutions – Maliki

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Premier Nouri al-Maliki called for balances in governmental institutions and leading offices on the basis of expertise, not sectarian and religious connotations.  In a TV interview with Afaq Channel, scheduled to be broadcast later on today, he confirmed that the political partnership has a meaning, and has begun to hinder the work in many procedures.  “We have agreed on balances in all governmental institutions based on expertise, not sectarianism,” he added.  Differences have been ongoing for the past few months regarding the nominees for the security posts.  RM (TS)/SR    331
