Seven wanted persons for killing Babel official detained in Babel

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Seven persons, charged with the assassination of a member of Iskandariya township’s council and 3 of his family members have been detained by the Iraqi police on Saturday, a Babel security source reported.   “The operation of chasing the hideout positions at Jibila village, 50 km to the northeast of Hilla, the center of southwestern Iraq ’s Babel Province , had led the police to detain the defendants, charged with killing a member of Iskanadariya township and 3 of his family members last Thursday,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   Hilla, the center of Babel Province , is 100 km to the south of Baghdad .   SKH (ST)   350
