Maliki to visit Iran – other countries

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Premier Nouri al-Maliki is to visit Iran and some other countries, including United Arab Emirates, State of Law Bloc MP disclosed here today.   MP Khalid al-Asadi told IraqiNews.com that “Maliki will shortly make a tour to some countries, including Iran and UAE to discuss a number of issues, in addition to bilateral relations, and extending invitations to foreign companies to invest in Iraq“.   There are a number of differences between Iraq and Iran, including Iranian bombardment of bordering areas, Wind River question and other border issues.
