Seven killed, 22 injured in Thi-Qar traffic accident

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: Seven Basra passengers have been killed and 22 others were injured in a bus accident, while on their way back to Basra , near Nassirya city, the center of southern Iraq ’s Thi-Qar Province on Friday, a security source reported.   “A bus, carrying visitors, coming from the Shiite holy city of Karbala on their way back to their home city of Basra , had overturned close to Nassiriya city, killing 7 of its passengers and wounding 22 others, due to its driver being asleep,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   Nassiriya city, the center of Thi-Qar Province , is 380 km to the south of Baghdad .   SKH (PT)   315
