Anbar province dem – s exploiting Khasfa Gas – Oil field

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Chairman of Anbar‘s provincial council demanded the Iraqi central government to exploit Khasfa gas and oil field, which was discovered by provincial oil cadres.   Saadoun Ubaid al-Sha’lan told IraqiNews.com that the province demanded to put this field in future governmental investment projects.   He pointed out that the province has different kind of material that could be invested in addition to oil and gas resources.   Ramadi, center of Anbar province, lies 110 km west of the capital, Baghdad.   RM (TP)/SR 494
