Distorted child, with one eye – no nose, born in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A women has given birth of a “distorted” child, with one eye and no nose in a Karbala hospital, coming from district, where several cancer cases were registered, the Director of Women and Delivery Hospital in Karbala city said on Saturday.   “One of our women-delivery chambers had witnessed a strange birth, given by a 24-year-old women of Najaf city of a female child, suffering from strange distortions, with one eye, no nose and a distorted ear,” Dr. Sabah Nour Hadi al-Moussawi told IraqiNews.com news agency.   Dr. Moussawi said the “case had been the first of its kind witnessed by his hospital,” adding that the women comes from a Najaf district, that witnessed several cancer cases, stressing that the same woman had given birth to a distorted child, that died few years ago.   SKH (ST) 344
