3 killed, 6 wounded in building collapse in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com:  Three civilians were killed and six wounded when a building  collapsed in Zubair, west of Basra, police sources said today.   The source told IraqiNews.com that a 2-storey building fell, 30 km west of Basra, killing three, including two children, and wounding six, including a woman.   Maintenance being carried out on the building led to its collapse, the source added.   Basra province lies 590 km south of the capital, Baghdad.
