Jaafary calls for withdrawal of foreign forces from Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Chairman of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary, has affirmed on Saturday his Alliance ’s rejection of the presence of foreign forces on Iraqi territories, under whatever justifications.   “The position of the National Alliance is rejection of the presence of foreign forces on Iraqi territories, under any name and number, and for any justifications, because their presence undermines the national sovereignty,” Jaafary said in a statement, copy of which landed in IraqiNews.com news agency.   Noteworthy is that Iraq and the United States have signed a Strategic Security Agreement, including the withdrawal of the remaining US forces in Iraq by the end of the current year.   SKH (PT)   271
