Filipino delegation in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A Filipino delegation is currently visiting Iraq to study the possibility of re-opening its embassy in Baghdad and lifting the boycott on the work of Philippines in Iraq, as reported by Philippine Daily Enquirer quoting the Philippine’s Foreign Ministry.   This is the first Filipino delegation to visit Iraq since its embassy was moved to Jordan in 2005, due to security fears.   The Philippines prevented sending workers to work in U.S. forces’ camps in Iraq and Afghanistan.
