Industry minister meets French companies

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi industry and minerals minister met today in Paris, France,  representatives of Chemical and Petrochemical Projects (Technip) to discuss the possibilities of developing present petrochemical industries in Basra, and study the possibility of establishing a new iron and steel complex, as well as medical and agricultural equipment.   In a statement issued by the ministry, and received by IraqiNews.com, Minister Ahmed Nasir Dali received the study prepared for the chemical industry prepared and to be partially financed by the French government.   During the coming months, specialists from both sides shall discuss the details of these projets.
