Iraqi Kurdistan Sulaimaniya Adm. demands Barzani to practice decentralization system

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: The Governor of northern Iraq’s Kurdistan Province of Sulaimaniya and the Province’s Council have demanded the President of Iraqi Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, to practice the decentralization system of administration in Kurdistan, during his current visit to the Province, its Governor, Kawa Abdullah told IraqiNews.com News agency on Friday.   “Barzani has conferred on Friday with the Governor, the Provice’s Council and Administrative officials, discussing different administrative problems of the Province,” Abdullah said.   “Kurdistan Region is in need to practice the decentralization system and that the local administrations become the source of decision, along with the Parliament’s acceleration of discussing the elections law for the Region’s provinces,” he added.   SKH (ST) 309
