Joint US-Iraqi force detains 4 persons in Diala Province

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Four suspected elements suspected with having relations with an armed group of Iran have been detained by a Joint US-Iraqi Force, in an armed operation east of Baaquba, the center of northeast Iraq’s Diala Province on Friday, a security source reported.   “A Joint Iraqi-US Force has implemented a joint security operation in Zaidan village of Khalis Township, 15 km to the northeast of Baaquba, the center of Diala Province, on Friday morning, detaining 4 persons, suspected to be related to the armed forces of Iran,” giving no further details.   Baaquba, the center of Diala Province , is 57 km to the northeast of Baghdad .   SKH (PT)   281
