Project to print 1,000 books on occasion of Baghdad – Capital of Arab Culture of 2013

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Higher Committee for the Project of Baghdad – the Capital of Arab Culture for 2013, has called Sunday on all intellectuals and writers to contribute in its project to publish 1,000 books on this occasion, all to be related to the issues concerning Baghdad’s civilization, scientific and ideological heritage and men of thought in Arabic, Kurdish, Turkoman, Syriac languages, as well as the vital foreign languages.   “The plan covers the issuance of over 1,000 books under headline ‘ Baghdad – the Capital of Arab Culture for 2013’ in issues related to Baghdad ,” Director of Culture Ministry’s Media Spokesman, Saleh al-Tamimy said.   SKH (PT)
