Iraq’s PM discusses increase of southern Iraq oil field’s production with Italian Company

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq ’s Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, has discussed on Monday with a visiting delegation of the Italian ENI Company for Oil Industries the increase of production of southern Iraq ’s al-Zubair Oil Field.   “Prime Minister Maliki has received on Monday a delegation representing the Italian ENI Company for Oil Industries, during which he discussed means for expanding the works of the Company and the increase of production in al-Zubair Oil Field, along with the achievement of the joint interest of both sides,” a Prime Minister’s office statement stressed.   On his part, the Chairman of the Italian Company’s Delegation, Paolo Scroni, expressed his Company’s readiness to “cooperate and strive to increase the production, through the Company’s plans to develop al-Zubair Oil Field.   SKH (ST) 425
