URGENT: Iraq wins 6 gold prizes, 3 copper, in Arab Weightlifting Championship

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq has won 9 different prizes in the Arab Weightlifting Championship for Young Men and Women, taking place in Morocco nowadays, the Chairman of the Iraqi Weightlifting Federation reported on Wednesday.   “Iraq’s Weightlifting Select Team for Young men and Women has won 9 prizes, including 6 gold and 3 copper in the Arab Competitions now taking place in Morocco, with the participation of 13 Arab teams, including Iraq, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain,” Saleh Mohammed Kadhim told IraqiNews.com news agency by telephone from the Moroccan Capital of Casablanka.   “Weightlifter Hassan Falah Hassan has scored 3 gold prizes and his Colleague, Ali Ahmed Abed Ali, has won another 3 gold prizes,” he said.   He added that “the Young Weightlifter Huda Salem Ni’ama, has scored 3 copper prizes.”   SKH (ST) 185
