Iraq’s Parliament Speaker heads to Tehran

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Parliament Speaker, Usama al-Nujeify, has flown for Tehran on Friday, leading a Parliamentary delegation, to hold talks with Iranian officials, the semi-official al-Iraqiya TV Satellite Channel reported. “Nueify has left for Tehran on Friday, accompanied by a number of Parliament members, to carry out talks with Iranian officials, aimed at strengthening joint relations and discussing the joint dossiers between both countries,” the Channel stressed, giving no further details.
