30,000-seater stadium in Baghdad soon

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com:  Amanat Baghdad Sports Club next month will lay the foundation stone for an international soccer stadium that seats 30,000 people. “Well-known foreign companies from Sweden and Germany have offered to carry out the project,” a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency quoted the chairman of the club, Falah al-Masoudi, as saying. “The stadium will be constructed to international standards,” he added.
