Hashimi meets Habshkova, bilateral relations discussed

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi discussed with the EU ambassador to Iraq means of developing bilateral relations, according to a statement by his office. The statement, as received by IraqiNews.com, that Hashimi pointed out to ambassador Yana Habshkova that there are “joint interests should be developed , foremost are the economic and trade relations”. Hashimi hoped the EU will cooperate with Iraq in fields of human rights, judicial reform and countering corruption.
