Car bomb dismantled in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Army in Wassit managed to dismantle a car bomb in the center of the province, while police sources announced strict security measures following the explosions in Baghdad. The Middle Euphrates Military Command, stationed in Diwaniya, announced these precautionary measures. Commander Qais al-Muhamadawi told IraqiNews.com that the car was discovered, carrying great quantities of explosives, near a popular market in Hay County. On the other had, police sources said to IraqiNews.com that Kut witnessed strict security measures today following Baghdad explosions which led to a great number of casualties.
