US accusations against Iran will not affect military withdrawal, Kurdish bloc

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Kurdish bloc spokesman said that the US charges against Iran for attempting to assassinate the Saudi ambassador shall not be an excuse for continued US forces stay in Iraq, pointing out that there is a political agreement for their withdrawal. MP Mu’ai’ad al-Taib told IraqiNews.com that this case will not affect US withdrawal. According to an agreement between Baghdad and Washington in 2008, the US forces should withdraw by the end of this year. On the assassination question, he added “Iraq is not concerned with it, because it is a matter between America and Saudi Arabia.
