Kurds criticize Maliki’s call for tribal council

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Kurdish bloc member described the attempt to establish more independent organs will weaken the governmental institutions, criticizing the call of Premier Nouri al-Maliki’s call to establish a higher national council for Iraqi tribes. MP Mahmoud Othman told IraqiNews.com that these formations are unconstitutional , and will negatively affect the building of the Iraqi state. He reminder his warning of establishing the Sahwa organization, which led to illogical solutions. Premier Maliki called last Saturday for the formation of  higher national council for Iraqi tribes that will organize the tribal formations on national and constitutional bases.
