Mosul curfew lifted

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Security sources reported that the curfew imposed today on Mosul city was lifted . Earlier, security sources told IraqiNews.com that the curfew was made in anticipation of terrorist and suicide belts attacks. Citizens were planning to make peaceful demonstrations in protest for the arrest campaigns made by the security organs against ex-Baathist and military officers. Mosul, center of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of the capital, Baghdad.
