Barzani in Tehran for talks on joint relations between Kurdistan – Iran
Massoud Barzani, has arrived in Tehran on Saturday for an official visit to discuss joint relations
ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The President of north Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, between both sides, a Kurdistan Region‘s source reported. “The President of Kurdistan Region, Masssoud Barzani, has arrived in Tehran‘s Mehrabad Airport, on an official visit and was received in the airport by the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Akbar Salehi and Iraq’s Ambassador to Tehran, Mohammed Majid al-Sheikh,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said the delegation, accompanying Barzani, includes the Chairman of Kurdistan Region‘s Diwan (office), Fuad Hussein and the Kurdistan Minsters of Electricity, Abu-Bakr Mawi and Health, Taher Hawramy, along with Arbil and Sulaimaniya Governors, Nowzad Hadi and Bahruz Mohammed Saleh.”Barzani and his accompanying delegation are expected to discuss with leading Iranian officials during their visit the issues of joint interest between both sides, including the border problems and a number of political and economic issues,” he said.
