BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iranian foreign minister Ali Akbar Salehi expressed readiness to sign a joint security agreement with Iraq, containing the training of personnel and other defensive issues.In a press conference with his Iraqi counterpart Hoshiar Zebari, he added that agreement was reached to exchange views in all bilateral matters in a manner serving strong and balanced relations. On his side, Zebari said that “the talks concentrated on border security and cooperation to limit the trespassing on this dossier”. Saleh began yesterday a 2-day visit to Iraq where he met Iraqi president Jalal Talabani who pointed out that “the security question is a joint issue between the two countries” and stressing “Iraqi desire to solve all pending questions through dialogue and mutual understanding.
