Salah al-Din province called to review decision – demonstrators

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Tens of demonstrators demanded in Baghdad today that Salah al-Din Provincial Council withdraw its decision to change the province into a region. Other demonstrators were connected in sports affairs denouncing the change of Khaliji 21 tournament from Basra to Bahrain. IraqiNews.com reporter said that the demonstrators warned against the dangers of changing Salah al-Din province into region, which may create a state of division to sectarian and ethnic groups. The demonstrators called the central government to study the reasons behind these calls through expanding provincial authorities, halting random arrests, releasing innocent people, and activation of national reconciliation.
