Minister of Youth promises support to Iraq Olympic Commission

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Youth and Sports Minister promised to extend all possible assistance to the Iraqi National Olympic Commission which is preparing to participate in the Arab Sports Tournament, due next December in Qatar. During a meeting with the members of the Commission, he confirmed material and moral support to the Iraqi federations participating in the Arab tournament, praising the results of football tournament held in Amman, Jordan, for the World Cup Finals due in Brazil in 2014. He added that Iraq will try to develop sports contact on the European levels, in addition to building sports cities and 30.000-spectator stadiums all over the country. On the other side, Raad Hammoudi, chairman of the Commission, called for allocating financial support to the Commission and Football Federation.
