Kuwaiti demonstrations are popular move to rectify political process – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqiya bloc MP  described the demonstrations in Kuwaiti is a popular move to rectify the political process there, calling security forces not to use violence against the demonstrators. In a statement, MP Alia Nsaif, copy received by IraqiNews.com today, that “it is the right of the Kuwaiti people to be affected by Arab Spring and demand finalizing administrative and financial corruption”. “We feel concerned that the Kuwaiti security forces dealt with the protestors with violence, though the demonstration was peaceful with no order violations”, she added. Nsaif stressed that the Kuwaiti government should respond to popular demand and start a real move to rectify he mistakes, according to the Kuwaiti people’s will. Thousands of Kuwaitis stormed in the Parliament premises in the capital to demonstrate against the Prime Minister, where police forces attacked them. RM (TP)/SR 50
