URGENT / Iraq’s Volleyball Team scores International Volleyball Championship in Damascus

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Volleyball Select Team has won the Championship of the International Friendship Championship, that was concluded in the Syrian Capital of Damascus, attended by Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine, according to an Iraqi press source on Sunday. “The Iraqi Volleyball Select Team has scored the International Championship, after its last game against Palestine, that ended with 3 clean shots, 25-17, 25-9 and 25-9, whilst the Syrian Select Team had won against Lebanon,” Saad al-Mishaal told IraqiNews.com news agency. Mishaal said that the Iraqi Team had won against the select teams of Lebanon by 3 shots, whilst it lost one team against Syria. 96
