KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: A member of northern Iraqi Kurdistan’s Asayish (Security) Forces has been killed and another member injured in an armed attack by a group of unknown gunmen in Tuz township, 80 km to the south of Kirkuk on Sunday, a Tuz security source reported on Monday. “A group of unknown gunmen have opened fire Sunday night on the house of the Director of the Kurdish Asayish (Security) Forces in Tuz township, belonging to the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), killing one of his guards and wounding another.The armed men escaped to an unknown desination,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. Kirkuk is 280 km to the northeast of Baghdad. SKH (TP)/SR160
