Iraq Pharmacist killed in armed attack east of Samarra, north Baghdad

SALAH AL-DIN / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi pharmacist has been killed in an armed attack by 2 unknown gunmen east of Samara township of northcentral Iraq’s Province of Salah al-Din on Wednesday, a police source reported. “Two unknown gunmen broke through a pharmacy, belonging to Luei al-Shamani, close to Sammarra’s Medicine Plant, shooting him dead on the spot and escaping to an unknowng destinatoin,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He said the securiy forces arrested 15 persons suspected to have some relationship with the incident, giving no further details. Tikrit, the center of Salah al-Din Province is 175 km to the north of Baghdad. SKH (TP)/SR 86
