Iraq’s current problem lies in Prime Minister Maliki’s political programmin?g, iya MP says

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A Legislature of al-Iraqiya Alliance, led by former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, has said on Saturday that Iraq‘s current problem lies in the political programing, followed by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, to steer the State. “The current problem in Iraq is not linked to the Presidency or the Legislative authorities, but to the political programs of the Prime Minister, especially as regards to the security dossier, being the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces,”Legislature, Haider al-Mulla told IraqiNews.com news agency. “If we want to come out of the protocol meetings to the productive meetings, the political forces must push for the adjustment of Maliki’s said political programming or commit him to follow a programming, based on national partnership; or else to press on the National Alliance to replace him,” Mulla stressed. Iraq‘s President Jalal Talabani had announced earlier a decision to begin a new and extensive campaign to hold a summit for political leaders, and then to hold a meeting, to be attended by different political forces, to reach an agreement to hold a general national conference, that would take decisive decisions to put an end for those problems and enter in a new phase, that would guarantee the emergence of national action.
