Threats are present during Holy Muharam month – Najaf Police

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The security plan in Najaf province was started today to cover holy Muharam, pointing that there are probable security threats against the visitors, Commander of Najaf Police announced here. General Abdul Kareem al-Ameri said, in press conference, attended by IraqiNews.com, that all security forces were mobilized to protect the citizens participating in religious parades to be made in the province. He added that the plan is characterized with integrate coordination among mid Iraq provinces, with their explosive checking equipment and anti-terrorist squads.
