MOU with French company signed for express railway

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Transport Minister announced today that measures will be taken to evacuate holy shrines visitors, including building an express railway. Minister Hadi al-Ameri told IraqiNews.com, during his meeting in Kerbela to solve the questions of holy shrines visitors, who will reach over millions. He added that all the measures taken now are temporary, thus “we have to build strategic projects, including express railway”. “A memorandum of understanding was signed with a French company to build a Baghdad-Karbala-Najaf-Basra railway”, he disclosed.
